Nalandabodhi Vancouver is delighted to continue our online Introduction to Buddhism study course — starting Saturday, Sept. 18 (9:00 – 10:30 am).
In this introductory course, we explore some key Buddhist concepts that help lay a foundation for examining who we are and what we are doing here.
Led by senior students, we will discuss ideas such as Impermanence, Karma, Rebirth and Selflessness and learn how we can apply these contemplations to our daily lives and practise.
This is the third in a series of four introductory courses on the Nalandabodhi Study Curriculum, drawn from teachings of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. It is open to anyone who is interested in Buddhism and would be an excellent review for those who are experienced on the path.
The class format includes a brief period of silent Shamatha meditation and then a summary and discussion of the chapter. The course booklet is available for purchase.
Time: Every second Saturday from September 18 to December 11 from 9:00 – 10:30am Pacific Time.
NOTE: The Zoom link for this ONLINE class will be sent out in early September.
