Are you hoping to begin – or deepen – a meditation practice?  Need to bring more calm and stability into your life?  Want to learn more about the Nalandabodhi Practice Path?

This September,  Nalandabodhi Vancouver will offer Introduction to Meditation, an in-person course.The class will meet every week for 5 sessions beginning Tuesday, Sept. 17 (7 pm to 8:30 pm).

You’ll be introduced to the purpose and practice of calm-abiding mediation (shamatha), with a taste of analytical meditation. The class draws on instructions and insights from Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche’s book, Rebel Buddha.

The course is an excellent starting point for newcomers and a valuable refresher for others. Introduction to Meditation will be facilitated by seasoned Nalandabodhi practitioner, Christian Monks.

Introduction to Meditation has 1.5-hour classes (Tuesday evenings Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1, 8 & 15 ).
