This September, Â Nalandabodhi Vancouver will offer Introduction to Meditation, an in-person course.The class will meet every week for 5 sessions beginning Tuesday, Sept. 17 (7 pm to 8:30 pm).
You’ll be introduced to the purpose and practice of calm-abiding mediation (shamatha), with a taste of analytical meditation. The class draws on instructions and insights from Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche’s book, Rebel Buddha.
The course is an excellent starting point for newcomers and a valuable refresher for others. Introduction to Meditation will be facilitated by seasoned Nalandabodhi practitioner, Christian Monks.
Introduction to Meditation has 1.5-hour classes (Tuesday evenings Sept. 17, 24, Oct. 1, 8 & 15 ).
