Enhance your meditation practice. Gain insight into yourself and your world. In-person class.
In Buddhadharma, the path of meditation provides progressive stages for working with your mind. For those seeking to deepen or stabilize your basic meditation practice, Discovering Oneself is the class for you!
The class will meet in-person only, Tuesday evenings (7 pm to 8:30 pm) from November 12 to December 10, 2024.
Discovering Oneself focuses not only on mindfulness but also on the importance of ‘bodyfulness.’ We’ll examine some common pitfalls that arise on the Buddhist path. Rebel Buddha, Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche’s wonderful book, will serve as our guide to Buddhist tenets and the path of meditation.
This class is open to anyone with some basic experience with meditation. Discovering Oneself is the second part of Nalandabodhi’s entry-to-meditation series. If you attended the recent Introduction to Meditation course, please continue here. The facilitator is senior Nalandabodhi practitioner, Christian Monks.
Our hope is that students will gain a deeper meditation practice and better understanding of themselves, so they may engage the world with greater skill.
Please pre-register below. Or feel free to drop into the first class (Tues., Nov. 12).
