ABOUT CHENREZIG PRACTICE
Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteśvara, is the most revered of all Bodhisattvas, embodying the compassion of all Buddhas. His name means the “One who gazes with eyes of love and compassion on all beings in the six realms of samsara.”
The practice of Chenrezig is one of love and compassion. The Tibetan Buddhist tradition relates Chenrezig to recitation of the six-syllable mantra, Oṃ Maṇi Padme Hūṃ, which invokes his benevolent power.
“Doing the practice of Chenrezig means developing our love and compassion, and giving rise to bodhichitta. Accomplishment means being able to manifest [ourselves at] the level of Chenrezig.” ~ 17th Gyalwang Karmapa
We look forward to practicing together!
