Buddhism is a path of liberation! Find the path through a Buddhist Study Group.
Curious about Buddhism? Wondering about taming your mind? The nature of suffering? The path of wisdom and contentment?
This in-person class on foundational Buddhist topics is open to newcomers and seasoned dharma students alike. The class will meet every second Saturday morning (beginning Sept., 20 and running until Dec. 13, 2025 — and beyond).
Introduction to Buddhism 101: The Life of the Buddha and the Spiritual Journey explores basic principles of the Buddha’s teachings. Nalandabodhi’s introductory series looks at the Four Noble Truths, karma, egolessness, the purpose of mindfulness practice, and the path of meditation among other topics.
The course lays the groundwork for further Buddhist study while offering helpful advice on applying dharma in your life.
Nalandabodhi’s Study Groups are friendly and interactive. Facilitated by experienced dharma practitioners, the course draws on profound yet accessible texts by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, the spiritual friend and founder of Nalandabodhi.
